About kelsey wilson lcsw, Licsw

Your partner in healing.

As a therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I support professional BIPOC women in reclaiming balance and restoring the energy needed to thrive personally and professionally. My passion is supporting women of color through the unique challenges of high-pressure seasons, Many of the women I work with seek help for anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, military-related challenges, and life transitions. I also work with adults of all backgrounds who are ready to move beyond stress and find a healthier way forward.

I hold a dual master’s degree in Social Work and Conflict Analysis & Resolution from George Mason University and have clinical experience in community mental health working with adults with a wide range of mental health concerns. In addition, I have experience working in a post-secondary educational program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

As a military brat, I’m passionate about helping women with military backgrounds or a family affiliation heal and feel empowered. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, exploring the local area, and painting.

please Hear me when I say:

Starting therapy is a step in the right direction.

I understand that stepping outside of the box and trying something new can be scary. In the process of working with me, you will begin the journey of healing and discovering that making a change is possible. Together, we will work to develop tools to help you regain a sense of control, balance, and peace.

How I work

I believe that there is hope in healing

Therapy and self-care are key components of healing from trauma. Together, we'll work to develop strategies that help you feel more centered, grounded, and resilient. While healing from trauma can be challenging, it is possible. I'm here to offer you the support, guidance, and tools you need to move forward in your life with confidence and resilience.
