I'm based on the East Coast and see Arizona clients via telehealth. Because Arizona doesn't observe daylight saving time, we'll be two to three hours apart depending on the season — which means my session times land comfortably in your morning and early afternoon. If you're an early riser or like to get a session in before the workday, this tends to work out really well. (I don't currently offer evening appointments.)

The length of time for weekly therapy varies depending on the complexity of what the presenting concern(s) are. I serve clients for 3 to 6 months or 1yr+ if their presenting issues warrant longer treatment. In the process of working with you, we will work together to determine what is an appropriate fit and make adjustments as needed. Therapy intensives can be scheduled for 1-3 days (3 hours max). Call the member number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits?
What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much of it have I met this year?
Once my deductible is met, what percentage of the session fee do you reimburse?
Is there a limit on the number of sessions per year?
How do I submit a superbill, and how long does reimbursement take?
Additional Tip: Write down the reference number for the call — it helps if you ever need to follow up.
