EMDR Intensives

EMDR Intensives are for women who have been carrying a lot and feel ready to heal a specific experience, emotional hurt, or repeating pattern in a focused, supportive space.

Who EMDR Intensives Are For

EMDR Intensives are for women who are used to holding it all together — at work, in family, in life — but internally feel tired, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck.

This space is especially supportive for BIPOC women who often carry unseen pressure, emotional labor, and survival patterns that don’t get talked about enough.

An intensive may be a good fit if you:

  • Feel stuck in a painful memory, emotional wound, or repeating life pattern

  • Are burned out, emotionally exhausted, or mentally overloaded

  • Notice old experiences still showing up in your body, reactions, or relationships

  • Have done therapy before but want deeper healing — not just coping

  • Want focused, meaningful progress without months or years of weekly sessions

  • Are ready to gently but intentionally work through what you’ve been carrying

Intensives work best when there is a clear focus — a memory, emotional theme, or life pattern you are ready to heal.

Who Intensives May Not Be the Right Fit For (Right Now)

Your safety and emotional readiness matter. An intensive may not be appropriate at this time if:

  • You are currently in crisis or in an emotionally unsafe environment

  • You feel unsure about doing deeper trauma work right now

  • Ongoing trauma is still actively happening in your life

  • You are looking for ongoing weekly therapy rather than short term therapy

  • Longer sessions would feel emotionally overwhelming at this time

If an intensive isn’t the right fit, we can talk through other options and honor the pace that feels best for you.

Focus Areas for EMDR Intensives

Trauma & Nervous System Reset

For women who feel stuck, emotionally exhausted, or triggered by the past

You may notice overwhelm, shutdown, reactivity, or a feeling of always being “on edge,” even when life looks stable on the outside. This intensive helps your brain and body process unresolved experiences so your nervous system no longer has to stay in survival mode.

This work can help you:

  • Release stored survival stress

  • Feel more grounded, calm, and in control

  • Create distance between your past and present

  • Move forward without reliving old experiences

“This intensive helps your brain process what it has been holding — so your body can finally exhale.”

Burnout, Emotional Overload & Compassion Fatigue

For women who are tired of holding everything together

Many women push through exhaustion, pressure, and emotional labor for years — until their body and mind feel depleted. This intensive focuses on releasing accumulated stress and restoring internal steadiness.

This work can help you:

  • Reduce overwhelm, exhaustion, and emotional numbness

  • Release built-up pressure and chronic stress

  • Reconnect with clarity, energy, and emotional presence

  • Shift patterns like overfunctioning and overgiving

“This is more than rest — it’s a reset for your nervous system.”

Relationship Wounds & Patterns

For when old emotional patterns keep showing up in relationships

If you struggle with trust, overgiving, emotional guardedness, or fear of abandonment, these patterns often trace back to earlier emotional wounds. This intensive works at the root level to help you feel safer, steadier, and more secure in connection.

This work can help you:

  • Heal emotional injuries from past relationships

  • Shift people-pleasing and over-responsibility

  • Strengthen self-worth and emotional safety

  • Show up in relationships with clearer boundaries and self-trust

“When the past is resolved, relationships begin to feel different — starting with the one you have with yourself.”

Find the healing you’ve been seeking.
